Master Gardeners of Middlesex County New Jersey is a community of passionate volunteers dedicated to advancing gardening and enriching our environment through education, service, and community projects. As part of the national Master Gardener program, we are committed to sharing our knowledge and love for gardening with our local communities.
Our volunteers are trained in cooperation with the Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station Cooperative Extension and are experts in horticulture and sustainable gardening practices. We provide scientifically based information to the public through our helplines, workshops, lectures, and information booths at local events.
We take pride in contributing to the beautification of public spaces and supporting environmentally friendly gardening practices. Our projects range from maintaining community gardens to providing horticultural education to schools and supporting native plant and wildlife management programs.
Our members come from all walks of life and share a common passion for gardening and a commitment to making a positive impact on the community. By joining forces, we create a network of knowledge and support that is essential for both novice and experienced gardeners.
At Master Gardeners of Middlesex County New Jersey, we believe that everyone can learn to garden and that gardening is a powerful way to connect with nature and with each other. Whether it’s growing your own food, creating a stunning landscape garden, or contributing to biodiversity, we are here to support and inspire.
We invite you to explore our programs, participate in our events, and even consider becoming a Master Gardener. Together, we can create a greener, healthier, and more beautiful Middlesex County.
